Jade Cantwell graduated from the University of Technology Sydney with a combined degree in Media Arts and International Studies. She was a finalist in the 2010 NSW Parliamentary Photo Prize and the 2012 Moran Photographic Prize. She has exhibited in group exhibitions as well as having her own solo show “Marking the Way” at Edmund Pearce Gallery in 2012.
Jade has a wide range of experience from working as a Web Publisher and Transcriber with the ABC in Sydney, leading group tutorials for Apple computers in Melbourne, to producing and crewing on a number of music videos and commercials with independent directors and production agencies.
Striking a fine balance between the logical/technical and the creative/ethereal, Jade enjoys problem-solving. She keeps her cool on set, and always strives to add value in whatever way she can.

I have assisted on a range of stills and video shoots in Sydney, Melbourne and abroad.
I am accustomed to working on shoots where I sometimes need to juggle multiple roles or proficiencies and am more than happy to do whatever needs to be done to get the best shot.
Experienced with both digital and analogue cameras, motion and stills, and a technical background means any new gear is quickly understood and learned.
